A Historic Moment in Ripon
Liz Cheney with Kamala Harris in Ripon is one of those moments that becomes something bigger—a turning point history will remember, when leaders chose principle over party to protect democracy.
Yesterday, we witnessed a moment of courage and principle that could change the course of history. In Ripon, Wisconsin—the birthplace of the Republican Party—Liz Cheney stood shoulder to shoulder with Vice President Kamala Harris, delivering a powerful message that transcended politics.
Cheney’s words have been on my mind all day:
"Help us right the ship of our democracy so that history will say of us: when our time of testing came, we did our duty, and we prevailed because we loved our country more."
This is the kind of leadership America desperately needs right now—leadership that prioritizes democracy over party, integrity over personal gain, and country over political ambition. Liz Cheney embodies this spirit. Every Republican official knows she’s right, but too many lack the courage to act. History will not be kind to them. Liz, however, will be recognized for how she rose to meet this moment.
Ripon feels like a tipping point. Cheney’s endorsement of Harris is more than a political gesture; it's a rallying cry for all of us who believe that democracy is worth defending, even if it means breaking from the party we once called home. Kamala Harris has not only embraced the challenge but has followed through on her promise to build a broad, pro-democracy coalition of “Country Over Party” conservatives. She understands what’s at stake and has shown she’s willing to fight for it.
This election is close. The next 31 days requires all our efforts, but if we work hard and stay united, we can win this. Together, we can help right the ship of our democracy, just as Liz Cheney called on us to do. It's an honor to be part of this movement—a movement that puts country first and demands that we all rise to this historic moment. Let’s seize it.
Join us in standing with Liz Cheney to put country over party and protect our democracy! Sign the digital card in support of Kamala Harris and show that when our time of testing came, we did our duty.

An important fact we can’t forget, it is two WOMEN taking the reins to defend our democracy. Two WOMEN who have the courage to walk the walk unlike so many who are too cowardly to publicly defend our democracy from trump and maga. Let’s hope this time these women will get the full credit they deserve when history is written. Let’s hope they’re not just a footnote as so many women have been throughout history.
How do I volunteer with Republicans for Harris? I was a Republican elected official in rural NYS (in the 1980s). Someone please provide a contact number. I traveled out of state to work for Obama in 2008 and 2112. Someone please tell me how I can be useful.
